Hempora has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to leave the tree planting to the professionals. They work closely with professional forestry partners including the U.S. Forest Service, and other government agencies and NGOs. They collect donations and send the funds to their reforestation partners, enabling them to cover the costs required to plant the trees.
They will be planted in a variety of forests on public and private lands in areas of great need. Many of these forests will be state and national forests managed by government agencies. The Arbor Day Foundation ensures the right trees are planted in the right place, at the right time.Â
We donate to The Arbor Day Foundation on the last day of every month. You can expect your tree to be planted the following month after purchase. Make sure you opt in to our newsletter to receive updates on our partnership with the Arbor Days Foundation and different projects we are working on for sustainability!
The motto of the Arbor Days Foundation is to plant the right trees, in the right place, for the right reasons. Depending on the location and what is needed, they will plant trees that best suit the surrounding ecosystem to give them the best chance of success.Â
